FROM THE MAKER

I handcraft kitchen and outdoor utility knives. It’s something that I love to do, I use the best possible steel and reclaimed timber to create knives that will last forever, long after you.

With a background in restaurants, cooking and a love of the outdoors it was a natural progression into making knives. As a kid growing up in the country I loved collecting knives, fishing, hunting, Swiss army knives, I had them all, I still have the first knife I ever bought as a 10-year-old.

I try to make knives in a timeless minimal style usually almost always from mono steel, either high carbon or stainless steel with local reclaimed timber where possible.

A handmade knife takes time and effort, it’s a balance of creativity and performance. The knives I make aren’t for everyone, the folks that buy hand-made knives understand the value in owning a one-off handcrafted tool that is built for purpose and made with individual attention.
