Introducing the Thomson Leather Journal — Built to Last, Made for the Journey

There’s something about putting pen to paper that digital will never replace. The slow, intentional pace of writing. The feeling of craftsmanship in your hands.

We created the Thomson Leather Journal for exactly that experience.

Made by hand in our workshop using premium, natural Australian leather, each journal is crafted with the same attention to detail we put into our knives. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just honest, durable work you can carry for a lifetime.

Designed with Purpose

We’ve kept it simple — A5 size for portability and ease, 80 GSM quality lined paper, and natural Australian leather that tells your story over time. The journal is built to age beautifully, developing a rich patina the more it's used. Scars, sun, oil, dirt — all become part of its character.

Whether you're heading into the bush, journaling by the campfire, sketching designs, or tracking your goals, this journal is meant to go with you. It’s not just a notebook — it’s a companion.

Why a Journal?

For those of you who’ve taken one of our workshops or bought a handmade knife, you know the value of slowing down. Making something with your hands. Spending time outside. The journal is a natural extension of that lifestyle — a place to record, reflect, and remember.

Each one is unique, just like the person who carries it.

Take a look at the journal [here] and consider making it part of your daily kit.

See you out there,
– The Thomson Team
