Chef's Cleaver
High Carbon Steel Chef’s Kitchen Cleaver with your choice of handle - White Oak, Black G10 or Otway Blackwood
A versatile knife, great for chopping and slicing. It has a great feel in the hand, sturdy and solid with a fine edge. Easily the most used knife in my kitchen.
The style of the chef’s cleaver is somewhere between a traditional meat cleaver and a thinner Japanese-style nakiri, like most of my knives the blade features an aged antique look with visible hammer and forge marks.
German-made 1084 High Carbon Steel.
Reclaimed American White Oak, Reclaimed Otway Blackwood or Black G10
Size is approximate.
Total Length - 26 cm
Blade length - 16 cm
Height - 7 cm
Weight - 300 grams
Bonus - Comes with a handmade premium Australian leather sheath.
Care - Rinse under running water and dry thoroughly after use. Don’t soak in water and stay away from the dishwasher at all costs. Carbon Steel will patina with use, and it is not uncommon to form surface rust spots if not kept dry.
